Nabusimake is the indigenous capital of the Arhuacos. This village on the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta near Valledupar is full of secrets, archaeological findings and above all many symbols for this culture, which you will discover in this 3 day and 2 night tour to Nabusimake. A perfect package for sharing and living with indigenous communities.

Our trip to Nabusimake begins by departing from Valledupar to Pueblo Bello, where we will have a typical breakfast and visit the market and the interpretation center of the Arhuaca culture. We will then board 4x4 vehicles to travel to Nabusimake, but during the trip we will make stops in Pueblo Hundió where we will do archaeology and geology and then at the Sheriff's Y station to do some landscape observation.
The arrival to Nabusimake will be around 11:00 am, where we will rest a bit, have a typical lunch with products from the indigenous garden and at 2:00 pm we will start the second day of the first day. In the following hours, we will make a recognition of the culture and flora of the area, visit the village, the ethnic school and the sacred well of the Nabusimake River. We will return for the typical dinner, aromatic waters and organic coffee at 7:00 pm.
From 8:00 to 9:00 pm we will have a cultural talk around the fire and a craft show. Finally, at 10:00 pm we will go to rest.
The second day of our tour to Nabusimake starts at 6:30 am with breakfast, however, those who wish, can get up at 5:30 am to take a bath in the river and admire the sunrise.
After breakfast, you will hike on flat terrain towards the Kurakatá waterfall. At 12 noon we will be back for lunch and rest until 3:00 pm.
From 3:00 to 5:00 pm we will go on recreational observation walks, visit the organic crops and the wuraku of love, a sacred site for the Arhuaco Indians. At 7:00 pm we will have dinner with typical indigenous food accompanied by aromatic waters and organic coffee,
then we will go outside to sit around a fire and share about traditional medicine and life experiences.
The time for breakfast on the third day at Nabusimake is at 8:00 am, and then we will take a tour of the culture and fauna, this time along the Arroyo Molino River. We will return at 12:00 m to have lunch and prepare for Nabusimake's return to Pueblo Bello where we will change vehicles like the first day and from there to Valledupar where the spiritual experience tour to Nabusimake ends.
