Passion fruit tour 2 days.

Day 1

Our adventure begins after being picked up from the hotel in the city of Santa Marta in a 4x4 vehicle to the Jolonura region, where the hiking starts for approximately 3 hours. During the journey, fruit and water will be provided while you enjoy the flora and fauna of the majestic Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta. During this hike, you will cross the Marinca stream 16 times until reaching the campsite called Reserva el Paraíso, so it is recommended to bring water shoes and a swimsuit.

At the campsite, breakfast will be prepared, and then a 15-minute trekking begins to the "El Edén", "Santa Rosa" waterfalls, and other nearby swimming spots, where you will spend 3 hours enjoying pure and crystal-clear waters, while appreciating the birds native to the area. We return to the campsite to enjoy a typical regional lunch. Once the lunch and rest time is over, we will take a walk to recognize the place. Dinner will be served at 05:30 p.m., as the reserve does not have electricity so it is important to take advantage of daylight.

At 07:00 p.m., a bonfire will be lit to share experiences of the region's ancestors, their customs, and the history of this region. Accommodation in the reserve can be in hammocks or cabins depending on availability and choice.

Day 2

On this day, we will wake up very early around 05:00 a.m., to have breakfast and start a hike to the viewpoint, where we will trek for approximately 2 hours. During the journey, fruit and water will be provided to maintain hydration. From the viewpoint, you can appreciate the view of the municipality of Ciénaga, the renowned and historic Zona Bananera and its aquatic areas, as well as part of the city of Barranquilla, the Caribbean Sea, and the coal ports. To the north, you can observe Cerro Kennedy, Punta Brava, Agua Linda, Vista nieve, San Lorenzo, La Tagua, and the Coffee Zone of the Sierra Nevada.

Around 8:30 a.m., we begin the return to the campsite for breakfast. Once the breakfast and rest time is over, we reach a place where we will plant and/or adopt a tree, which will be a testimony of our visit to this imposing mountain. We continue the 15-minute walk to the indigenous baptism pool bathing area, where we will spend approximately 3 hours before having lunch. Finally, we descend to where the 4x4 vehicle is located, which will take us back to the accommodation place in the city of Santa Marta.
