Basic Information:
Bahía Málaga is a place surrounded by nature, sea and beautiful beaches where you can disconnect from reality and connect with your inner being. In addition to being also recognized for being one of the main migration destinations for the humpback or humpback whale, which arrives in its waters to raise its calves in the season from July to October.
To get to Bahía Malaga there are two options:
- By land from Cali, which is the closest city, you must go to the bus terminal and buy a ticket to Buenaventura that takes about 3 hours to get to the Buenaventura bus terminal. Then you go to the Buenaventura dock and there you can take a boat to Juanchaco.
- By air on the airline Satena or Easyfly travels from Bogotá to Buenaventura. If you are traveling from another city, you can make a connection in the capital to get there. Then you go to the Buenaventura dock and there you can take a boat to Juanchaco

We venture into the waters of the Pacific Ocean from Buenaventura, where we will board a boat that will take us to Bahía Malaga and for 3 days we will enjoy different activities that will allow us to enjoy the Fauna and Flora of the Colombian Pacific.
- Whale watching: From the hotel we will receive a tourist talk about these mammals. The departure is made from the Juanchaco pier, where an official from the National Natural Parks tells more about the Humpback Whales. They go out by boat to make the sighting, waiting to see the wonder of these animals. This activity lasts 2 to 3 hours.
- We will also take a tour of Esteros and Mangroves: during this activity we will embark in the town, where we will find a hidden dock to navigate through mangroves where we will appreciate an ecosystem with great biodiversity, beauty and mystery. We will appreciate the beautiful landscape of the mangroves, a fauna and a totally exotic vegetation that surrounds us as the water becomes more and more crystalline.
- Enjoy the beaches: extensive beaches bathed by the warm waters of the Pacific, where you can also enjoy the natural wonders that the Pacific region offers you,

- It is important to wear comfortable and light clothing.
- Wear a bathing suit.
- Wear comfortable shoes that can get wet.
- Bring a hat or cap, a quick-drying, low-volume towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses.
- Bring a bottle of water or a thermos.
- Don't forget to bring your camera.
- There are few ATMs and exchange houses, so it is preferable that you carry cash in Colombian pesos for extra expenses (low denomination money).
