More information.
We venture into the waters of the Pacific Ocean from Buenaventura, where we will board a boat that will take us to Bahía Málaga, and for 4 days, we will enjoy different activities that will allow us to experience the fauna and flora of the Colombian Pacific.
- Whale watching: The hotel provides tourists with a lecture about these mammals. The departure is from the Juanchaco pier, where a National Natural Parks official provides more information about Humpback Whales. They go out on a boat to observe, hoping to see the marvel of these animals. This activity lasts for 2 hours.
- We will also take a tour through the Sardineras Estuaries and Mangroves: during this activity, we will embark inland, where we will find a hidden dock to navigate through mangroves, appreciating an ecosystem with great biodiversity, beauty, and mystery. We will admire the beautiful mangrove landscape, an entirely exotic fauna and vegetation that surrounds us as the water becomes increasingly clear.
We will enjoy an unparalleled landscape with mountains, sea, and waterfalls; we will be able to see some freshwater pools that end their descent into the sea. We will also be able to enjoy refreshing baths on the beaches near the hotel and taste the delicious Pacific cuisine. This is an unmissable adventure full of nature, culture, and Pacific flavor.
Note: There is no itinerary as such described because the activities are done once you arrive at the hotel, and they depend on the tide.
