By plane you can fly to Tumaco from different Colombian cities with a stopover in Cali with Avianca. There are daily direct flights from this city (check flights before making your reservation). Also by land by the paved road known as Vía al mar from the city of Pasto (Distance 300 kilometers).

Day 1
Flavors of Tumaco: exploring its exquisite gastronomy
After being picked up at the Florida airport, we will go to our accommodation to check-in. Accompanied by our local guide, we will explore the fascinating urban area of Tumaco to immerse ourselves in its charm and discover its culinary treasures.
During our tour, we will visit the traditional cooks, who will receive us with great hospitality and will teach us the secrets of their ancestral culinary knowledge. we will delight ourselves with authentic traditional dishes of the region, such as fish, stuffed, rapingachos and empanadas. If we wish, we can even learn to prepare these recipes and take a little of their culinary essence with us. The estimated duration of this urban tour will be approximately 4 hours. We will then have free time to rest at our hotel or explore more of the vibrant streets of Tumaco.
Day 2
Encounter with the Majestic Humpback Whales
In the morning, after breakfast, we will meet our local guide and head towards Las Lachas Point to go in search of one of the most impressive and wonderful species in the ocean: whales.
As we navigate, our guide will share with us valuable information about these magnificent creatures, highlighting the importance of their presence in these waters and their role in the marine ecosystem. We will learn about their behavior, migrations and the need to conserve their habitat.
Once we spot these incredible whales, we will marvel at their acrobatics and majesty. We will take photos and enjoy this magical moment while remembering the importance of keeping a safe distance and not interfering with your natural surroundings. During the tour, our local guide will make us aware of the importance of practicing whale watching responsibly, respecting the regulations and being aware of our impact on the environment and the local community.
After approximately 3 hours of unique experience, we will return to the mainland with hearts full of wonder and gratitude for having witnessed these magnificent creatures. We will thank our local guide for his valuable work in the protection of marine fauna and for making us feel welcome on his land, we return to our hotel to rest.
Day 3
Boca Grande Route enjoying its charm and flavor.
After a rich breakfast we will meet our local guide and we will go to the beautiful beach of Boca Grande in Tumaco , 25 minutes from the town center. Upon arrival in Boca Grande, we will immerse ourselves in its charming coastal environment and enjoy the panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean that inspired the renowned Tumaqueño singer-songwriter Faustino Arias to compose the famous song "Noches de Boca Grande". We will take a moment to appreciate the tranquility and serenity of this place while we taste the famous crab encocado, a typical culinary delight of the region.
We will have time to enjoy Boca Grande beach, sunbathe, swim in the warm waters and relax in this paradisiacal environment, we will capture memorable photos and appreciate its beauty before saying goodbye to this magical place and returning to the hotel to rest.
Day 4
Coming to the end of this incredible experience in Tumaco.
After a delicious breakfast, we will go to the La Florida airport to start our return home happy for having been part of, enjoying this adventure to the fullest that allowed us to create unforgettable memories.
