Day 1
Cycling and Kayaking
We begin this adventure through the Alto Sinú leaving Montería to Tierralta in a journey of 1 hour and a half. Upon arrival at Ecolagos, our hosts are waiting for us to take two tours, one land and the other nautical.
1. Terrestrial Stage: We will get on an all-terrain bicycle for a 2-hour circuit, starting from ecolagos and arriving at Los 4 Caminos , where you learn about the history of Tierralta and how its communities were displaced. We will continue the tour to the Guartinajas Ecological Station, here we will be able to appreciate the incredible different crops that exist in Tierra Alta and its Fauna. Our path continues towards the Sinú river where we will learn to fish with a cast net. At the end we will continue by bicycle to the fish station (Low difficulty)
2. Nautical Stage: we will get into a kayak to explore a Lake with a stunning landscape. We will arrive at the asoporvenir association where we will be able to see the production of tilapia and feed them. We will continue to the viewpoint to make a space for dialogue and to be able to see from the top the beautiful views from that place. At the end we can enjoy a bath in the lake.
Day 2
Urrá Reservoir
On our second day we will leave very early in the morning (5am) towards the Urrá Reservoir, where we will navigate its emerald green waters until we reach to the first island for bird and primate watching. Then we will continue our journey sailing towards the second island, where we will delight ourselves with the sweet nectar of the sugar cane and we will learn about the cultivation until it is transformed into sugar. At the end we will continue to the last island where we will learn about the ancestral knowledge and flavors of Alto Sinú, as well as enjoy a delicious Enyucado.
Day 3
El Saltillo waterfall and Emberá Katío indigenous community
We will immerse ourselves in the ancestral culture and customs of the Emberá Katío people in a journey of approximately 1 hour walking towards the El Saltillo de Tuis Tuis Waterfall. During the tour we will learn about medicinal plants that the community traditionally used. Once we arrive, we can enjoy a refreshing bath and a snack. Later we will be back to our starting point to leave from there towards the Emberá Katío indigenous reservation to receive lunch and then do a beading workshop and a basketry workshop, we can take them as souvenirs.
Day 4
On this last day you can freely enjoy your time to shop, get to know the town of Tierra Alta or any other activity.

- Bring cool and waterproof clothing for water activities, and a bathing suit.
- Wear trekking or tennis shoes with good grip, appropriate for walks along trails or rivers.
- Bring change shoes.
- Bring a quick-drying, low-volume towel.
- Use repellent and sunscreen
- It is preferable that you bring cash for extra expenses (low denomination money).
