Day 1
Arrival in La Macarena.
We will pick you up at La Macarena airport and take you to the hotel, where you'll settle in before heading out for our first adventure. We will visit Caño Cristalito, a small river with crystal-clear waters and natural pools perfect for relaxation. There, we will have lunch and enjoy the place in the afternoon before returning to La Macarena. The day concludes with dinner and rest at our assigned hotel.
Day 2
Discovering Caño Cristales.
After a delicious breakfast, we will embark on a 4x4 journey to the entrance of Caño Cristales. From there, we'll start our hike along one of the trails designated by National Parks. You'll have the chance to explore various attractions such as Los Hoyos, Los Pianos, the Tourist Pool, Los Cuarzos, and the Danta Crossing. Enjoy snorkeling in natural pools, capture stunning photographs of the surroundings, and have lunch on-site. In the afternoon, we return to La Macarena for dinner and rest at our hotel.
Day 3
Visit to Bajo Losada.
Following breakfast, we depart early for a hike to the Inderena port, where we'll board a boat that will take us along the Guayabero River for approximately 30 minutes to the mouth of the Losada River. Here, we'll attempt to spot freshwater dolphins and observe the characteristic flora and fauna of the Serranía de la Macarena, including birds, turtles, and crocodiles. The tour concludes as we return to La Macarena, marking the end of this remarkable adventure.

- Yellow fever vaccination is recommended (not mandatory).
- Be prepared for rain: it may rain, so don't forget your waterproof gear.
- Bring your reusable water bottle or camelback. Disposable plastics are not allowed in Caño Cristales.
- Wear clothing that protects you from the sun. The use of sunscreen, repellents, creams, etc., that may alter the ecosystem and affect plants is not allowed.
- Wear sturdy walking shoes, preferably covering your ankles, as sandals or flip-flops are not allowed on the trails.
- Hotels in La Macarena do not have hot water; shower water is at room temperature.
- In La Macarena, there is only a Bancolombia bank correspondent and a Banco Agrario branch. Nevertheless, we recommend carrying cash.
- Phone signal is limited; the only operator that works (intermittently) is Claro.
- Children under 5 years old are not allowed to enter. The ideal age for a child to undertake the journey is 10 years old.
