How to get to the Parque del Café?
To get to Parque del Café , you must depart from Armenia . There, you must go to the city's Transportation Terminal and take a bus to the municipality of Montenegro , specifically at km 6, via Pueblo Tapao. The value of each trip costs 3,000 COP and the trip lasts approximately 20 minutes.
Now if you are in another city of the Coffee Region such as Manizales or Pereira, you can take a bus that will take you to Armenia and from there take the bus to Parque del Café , following the directions above.
How much does the entrance to the Parque del Café cost?
The entrance to the Parque del Café or Pasaporte , has various prices depending on age. These are:
- Multiple Passport ; valid for all mechanical attractions and cultural attractions unlimited: 64,000 COP.
- Multiple Junior Passport ; exclusively for people with height between 90cm and 124cm: 49,000 COP.
- Senior passport; valid for people 70 years and older: 49,000 COP.
What are the hours of the Parque del Café?
The Parque del Café has two schedules depending on the season. During the low season, it is open from Wednesday to Sunday and holidays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. In the high season , the entry hours are every day from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Tips for visiting the Parque del Café
- The attractions of El Show del Café and El Secreto de la Naturaleza are out of service due to the covid-19 contingency.
- Due to the emergency situation, the space is limited so try to buy your tickets through the page in advance.
- The Parque del Café is quite large, so it can take me hours to walk through it all. To avoid getting tired, you can rent cars at the park entrance.
- In the Park you will find a large number of restaurants and gastronomic offer, so it is not necessary that you bring food, as it is not allowed either.
