On this tour you will learn about the history, production process and conservation of Colombian coffee in the town of Salento. This town is known for the variety of its coffee farms and its beautiful vegetation.
To get to Salento, you can take a plane from Bogotá to Armenia, and from there take land transportation to reach the magical town.
By land, you travel 316 kilometers from Bogotá to Armenia (approximately 6 hours) and take the “double coffee highway,” which connects the departments of Quindío, Risaralda and Manizales, or from Armenia you take a 25-kilometer route to Salento (25 minutes approx.)

We will begin this adventure from Salento in a Willys Jeep along the old road until we reach a traditional Coffee Farm, where we will delve into the daily work of a farmer. On the trip we will be able to observe the diversity of fauna and flora; Then we will begin the tour among the coffee plantations, where we will learn about the sowing process from the seed and its maintenance while we collect the mature beans. At the end of our tour we will do a tasting of special coffee filtering methods.
