Tour of Mompox declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. A place with streets of colonial architecture, where you can get to know the culture, flavor and traditions of Mompocinas such as Filigree jewelry. A tour in which you will enjoy colonial history, natural landscapes, incredible sunsets, exquisite gastronomy and unforgettable activities.
To get to Mompox you can take a direct bus at 7:30am that leaves from the Cartagena or Barranquilla Transportation Terminal on a 6 to 7 hour trip. There are also door-to-door vehicles from Cartagena, or you can take a door-to-door vehicle that leaves at 3am from Santa Marta on a 5-hour tour.

Day 1
Sunset Magdalena River
We begin this experience at the Albarrada de la Choperena boarding point in front of the Ana Lorenza hotel, where you will take a boat in which you will live an unforgettable tour of the Magdalena River from Mompox to the town of Peñoncito, in a journey of approximately 2 hours. On board you will enjoy the sunset, riverside landscapes and feel the river breeze, and we return to Mompox to see the illuminated city.
Day 2
Historical and cultural City Tour + Photography Tour
Enjoy a walking tour of the Historic Center of Mompox that lasts from 2 hours to 2 and a half hours or maybe more, in which you can visit the monuments, places of interest about colonial history and learn about the relationship of Gabriel García Marquez with Mompox. At the end, you will be able to appreciate the artisan process of filigree in a workshop where they make jewelry. In the afternoon we will visit romantic and beautiful places in Mompox where a photo session will take place to remember this wonderful trip.
Day 3
Filigree Workshop
On our third day in Mompox, we will know part of its cultural richness through the techniques of handmade jewelry, Filigrana. And we will be able to elaborate with our own hands a small piece in very fine silver threads in miniature dimensions.
