Basic Information:
Zapatoca is a Municipality of Santander located 2 1/2 hours from Bucaramanga, where it crosses the Suarez River canyon. In Zapatoca you can enjoy a "silk climate", that is, very cool and a colonial cultural legacy embodied in its streets, houses and in the history of Don Quixote de la Mancha. Here you will find various places to visit, among these is the Guane Viewpoint from where you can appreciate the majesty of the Canyon.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Optional: Entrance to the Cueva del Nitro . It is a safe cave to walk through; the tour can last up to 3 hours). Additional person value $30,000
- Children from 2 to 3 years old pay $5,000. DO NOT OCCUPY a position in transport, it goes on the legs of an accompanying adult. This fee is medical assistance.
- Visit to the Guane Viewpoint : It cannot be visited in the rainy season because the terrain is uncovered

We will start this adventure with a tour of the historic sector of Zapatoca, where we will visit the main park, churches many centuries old, colonial streets where the facades of their houses stand out, among other attractions.
Later we will visit the Campo Santo and the tomb of the German Geo Von Lenguerke, who stood out in the area for the construction of the first cobblestone roads through which various products from the region arrived.
From there we will depart towards the Guane Viewpoint, from here we will appreciate the majesty of the Canyon made up of the Chicamocha and Suarez rivers and we will have a panoramic view of 8 municipalities of Santander.
Finally, we will visit the house - El Quijote Museum, a museum inspired by the work of Don Quixote de la Mancha and his squire, where there are small sculptures that narrate real life situations very well.
