Punta Gallinas with Cabo de la Vela

DAY ONE.

• 8:00 A.M. Departure from Riohacha at the end of the sail visiting the following tourist attractions: Manaure, Manaure salt flats, salt mountains, Uribía (indigenous capital of Colombia), cactus forests, reed desert, observe herds of goats and sheep around the ranches.
• 12: 30. PM. Lunch at cabo de la vela.
• 2:30 PM. Visit to rainbow beach, sugar pylon hill, golden sugar pylon beach, observe variety of landscapes around the Cape of the candle, visit eye of water beach, ending the afternoon we contemplate the sunset with multicolored outbursts from the tip of the lighthouse.
• 7:00 PM. Dinner at the Cape.
• Sleeping on the line of the sail in comfortable hammocks.

TWO DAYS.

• Breakfast at the head of the sail.
• 7:30 AM. Departure for Punta Gallinas visiting the following places, Jepirachi Wind Park, new port desert and portete, deep bay desert, deep bay, hondita bay desert.
• Bath in Taroa beach.
• 12:30. Lunch and rest in comfortable hammocks overlooking Taroa beach.
• 2:30 pm. Visit dune beaches of Taroa to appreciate and enjoy this fascinating landscape of sky, desert and sea.
• Bath in taroa dunes beach.
• 5:00 PM. Visit to the lighthouse of Punta Agujas located in the most northern part of South America to contemplate the sunset in front of Punta Agujas Beach.
• 7:00 PM. Dinner Punta Gallina.
• Sleeping on tip hens in comfortable chinchorros.

DAY THREE.

• Breakfast at Punta Gallinas.
• 7:30 am. Departure to Riohacha.
• We make a visit to the viewpoint of houses to observe panoramic and capture your best photo.
• 12: 00 M. Lunch in Uribía (indigenous capital of Colombia).
• 1:45 PM. Departure to Riohacha.
• 3:00 PM. Arrival to Riohacha.

Bring with you a small and comfortable luggage for the tour since the space in the vehicle is limited, if you have large suitcases you can leave them stored in the office hold during the days of your tour, this service has no additional cost.

It is important to bring comfortable clothes, towels, sunscreen, hats, caps, toiletries, flashlight and tennis.

Hydration is not included, you can buy it during the tour in Uribía or Riohacha.

You must bear in mind that this tour is made on the beautiful desert of La Guajira which offers us a variety of landscapes and exotic beaches, in this tour we have the basic comforts that offer the Posadas. 

Tourist since we do not have luxury hotels but with the kindness and disposition of the people who in the middle of the desert and the natural beauties give us everything to allow us to enjoy this adventure to the maximum.

• Program itinerary may vary according to weather conditions.
• The food will be made with typical foods of the region such as: variety of fish according to the fishing of the day, meat, chicken, goat The menus for vegetarians and vegans are limited to the conditions of the Wayuu community.
• If you wish to eat lobster or prawns you have an additional one.
• The sleeping in chinchorro is typical of the Wayuu culture and is carried out in open-air arbors, enjoying the pleasant breeze of the guajiras nights.
• In this option they have enough bathrooms available with all services.
• The rooms are ecological and have electricity service until 11:00pm.
