Witness one of the most beautiful miracles of nature, the humpback whales that year after year come from the south of the continent to the Colombian Pacific to mate and have their young, enjoy stunning natural landscapes and interact with the Guapireño community, enjoy its hospitality and its delicious gastronomy.
Guapi can be reached by air or sea, direct flights from Cali and Bogotá are frequent, but if you decide to go by water from Buenaventura, keep in mind that it can be a long and difficult journey, ideal for adventurers who already have some experience.

Day 1
Songs of the Jungle
After making our Check in at our lodging, we will prepare to interact with the Guapiro territory, we will learn the most important details of its culture to the rhythm of the marimba, we will sing in a musical ensemble with traditional teachers and then enjoy a delicious typical lunch of the place, we will have a guided tour through its streets and squares, making stops at the craft shops where we will have the opportunity to learn a little more about his work with the coconut shell among others, we will also visit the Casa del Rio where we will listen to a little of the history of one of the greatest exponents of traditional music from the Pacific at an international level, the maestro Hugo Candelario and we will know the essence of traditional medicine with the products of the Sanzará store. In the same way, we will live an experience to the rhythm of the marimba, loaded with a lot of dancing and traditional songs from the South Pacific. We end this day by returning to our lodging for dinner and rest.
Day 2
Joanico and Quiroga between Mangroves and Flavors.
We will have a day full of adventure and ancestral knowledge, we will visit the town of Joanico where they will receive us with a ritual of medicinal plants, we will take a tour or to know the community and the rooftops where they plant medicinal plants and spices. The group will leave a roof installed from which they will later receive audiovisual material at the time of harvest and food or medicinal use as the case may be.
Then we will do a foal tour of the river with our experts who will share some anecdotes and stories with us; They will adorn the route with their songs of vogue. We will return to the mainland where the knowledgeable will share their knowledge in the preparation of delicious cocadas or fresh harvest fruit, such as naidí, mamey, alligator, among others. After lunch we will enjoy even more the life that nature offers us, an encounter with the sea and the river, we are going to clam by the hand of the experts who will teach us in an artisan way how to collect these mollusks, we will venture into a task of fishing accompanied by the local fishermen. Without a doubt a cultural immersion in a living space, full of nature and culture, this day ends by returning to our lodging for dinner and rest.
Important: The proposed itinerary on day 2 may vary depending on the conditions of the tides, they determine if we start activities in Joanico or Quiroga.
Day 3
Encounter with the Whales in Isla Gorgona.
On this day we will leave very early to the dock to take a boat that will take us to Gorgona Island , where we will have one of the most enriching experiences in life, for lovers of nature and adventure, today we will meet one of the most incredible mammals on the planet. The Humpback or Humpback Whales , we will try to see them accompanied by an expert guide, then we will have a delicious typical lunch to venture on a tour of the old prison that has been devoured by the imposing jungle, our guide will give us important information about these facilities and how terrible for a prisoner to be sent to this isolated prison. We end the adventure with a recreational bath on beaches such as a town or pool to return to Guapi to delight our palate with more delicious samples of its gastronomy, traditional snacks and rest.
Day 4
A walk through the Galleries before saying see you soon.
On this day our adventure ends in this little piece of Colombia full of so much nature and traditional flavors, but before leaving we will take one last tour of the town to visit Galleries and shop for handicrafts and local products, then we will go to the airport, thus culminating our experience in Guapi and its surroundings.
