Pacific Experience in Guapi between the Sea and the River 3 days

Day 1
Arrival in Guapi, beginning of the Pacific experience.

After checking in at our lodging, we will prepare to interact with the Guapiro territory, we will have a typical lunch at the Raíces de Tierra y Mar Restaurant where we will discover with our traditional experts the secrets of the seasoning of traditional Pacific cuisine. We will taste a traditional and ancestral drink from the Pacific. Then we will go to the community of Sansón where the living museum of the Chonta marimba is located; The Torres family in Guapi are the most representative characters of the music of the Pacific, most of the musicians from Guapi have passed here in one way or another. With them you will also learn a little about the myths and legends of the territory, we will return to Guapi to continue our tour visiting the Palmachonta Foundation , one of the largest traditional music instrument workshops in the Pacific. We will learn details about the construction of the marimba , the bass drum, the cununo, and we will have the possibility of building our guasá together. In addition, we will visit the traditional music school where we will live an experience to the rhythm of the marimba, loaded with a lot of dance and traditional songs. With traditional musicians and singers we will perform a musical ensemble where we will be protagonists, they will tell us the story about the transformation of the site, we will enjoy a spectacular view of the river and the sunset. We end this day returning to our lodging to have a Guapireña dinner and rest.

Day 2

Sown with Knowledge Joanico and Quiroga.

We will have a day full of adventure and ancestral knowledge, we will visit the town of Joanico where they will receive us with a ritual of medicinal plants, we will take a tour to see the community and the rooftops where medicinal and spice plants are planted. The group will leave a rooftop installed from which it will later receive audiovisual material at the time of harvest and food or medicinal use as the case may be . Afterwards, we will take a ride on a foal along the river with our knowledgeable women who will share some anecdotes and stories with us that will grace the tour with their vogue songs. Then we will return to the mainland where the knowledgeable women will share their knowledge in the preparation of delicious cocadas or fruit. harvest of the moment, such as naidí, mamey, alligator, among others.

After lunch we will enjoy even more the life that nature offers us, an encounter with the sea and the river, we are going to clam by the hand of the experts who will teach us in an artisan way how to collect these mollusks, we will venture into a task of fishing accompanied by local fishermen. Undoubtedly a cultural immersion in a living space, full of nature, culture. This day ends by returning to our lodging for dinner and rest.

Important: The proposed itinerary on day 2 may vary depending on the conditions of the tides, they determine if we start activities in Joanico or Quiroga.

Day 3
Walk through the Galleries before saying see you soon.

On this day our adventure ends in this little piece of Colombia full of so much nature and traditional flavors, but before leaving we will take one last tour of the town to visit Galleries and shop for handicrafts and local products, then we will go to the airport, thus culminating our experience in Guapi and its surroundings.
