Day 1

Araracuara Jet.

We depart from Gustavo Artunduaga Paredes Airport in Florencia, heading for one of the most mystical territories in the Amazon. From the air, the immensity of the Caquetá River and the endless jungle welcome us, a foretaste of the experience that awaits us.

Our hosts, the Araracuara community, will welcome us with joy and allow us to learn a little about their culture. We will visit the Macaw Balcony viewpoint, where the song of these sacred birds resonates among the trees, evoking the ancestral connection with the jungle.

Then we will have a delicious homemade lunch and then depart towards the majestic Chorro de Araracuara, a waterfall on the banks of the Caquetá River, where the force of the water and the majesty of the landscape invite us to contemplate nature at its finest.

At dusk, we immerse ourselves in a special encounter with the sweet words of the mambe and ambíl. In a circle, together with our indigenous hosts, we will share stories, teachings, and the wisdom of the Uitoto and Andoke peoples in a ritual of connection and reflection.

We'll close the day under the starry sky, letting the nocturnal sounds of the Amazon lull us in this sacred territory.

Day 2

Visit to the Lost City of the Amazon

Our day will begin at 5:00 a.m. with a hearty breakfast before setting off on our adventure. We'll travel to Puerto Santander (Amazonas), where our hike begins, heading to a place steeped in history and mysticism. We'll follow a trail through secondary forests, where each step brings us closer to the mythical tales of this sacred space. After a one-and-a-half-hour hike, we'll reach a unique ecosystem: a savanna in the middle of a tepui, an extraordinary landscape where the memories and mysteries of the Andoke and Uitoto peoples dwell.

Upon arrival, we will see rocks with anthropomorphic and zoomorphic figures, symbols that narrate the connection of the first beings with their environment.

At mid-morning, we begin our return to Puerto Santander, where we share lunch with the community. Afterward, we head to the airstrip, carrying with us the echoes of the jungle and the teachings of our hosts. 1:30 pm – Return flight to Florencia
