Embark on a fascinating journey that will take you to the heart of the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta , exploring its biodiversity, getting to know its communities and discovering the magic of amphibian culture. We will explore the heart of Nueva Venecia with a city tour of its colorful murals , discovering the daily life of this floating village.

We'll give you a warm welcome at 7:00 am at the Ciénaga Mágica de Macondo Tourist Parador , located in Pueblo Viejo, Magdalena (Caribbean Trunk Road). Our team will be waiting for you to begin this unforgettable journey.
We will set sail at 7:30 am for a scenic motorboat tour of the river mouths descending from the Sierra Nevada: Río Frío, Río Sevilla, Río Fundación, and Río Aracataca. From the water, we'll observe the species that inhabit these confluences. We'll continue to Punta Blanca , the cormorant nesting site, where you'll witness their fascinating activity.
Our route will take us through Caño Grande , an ideal place to appreciate the ancient artisanal fishing techniques that local fishermen use in the swamp.
From the boat, we will head towards Buena Vista . Here, we will disembark to be welcomed with a vibrant cultural display , the traditional "Baile del Negro" . We will enjoy a refreshments and we will take a city tour to get to know this picturesque community.
At approximately 12:00 pm , we will arrive at the iconic New Venice , the impressive stilt village built over the water, where a delicious typical lunch awaits us, which will recharge your batteries.
In the afternoon, at 1:30 pm, we will visit the Casa del Artesano (Artisan House ). You will participate in an interactive workshop showcasing local crafts and take home a handmade souvenir. At 2:20 pm , we will explore the heart of New Venice with a city tour of its colorful murals , revealing the daily life of this floating village.
At 3:30 pm, we will begin our return, completing this enriching river and cultural expedition that will undoubtedly leave us full of beautiful memories and great learning.
