Day 1

Encounter with Ancestral Culture.

We will begin this adventure once we arrive in Inírida and embark on a journey to the Mavicure, Pájaro, and Mono hills, which belong to the Indigenous Reserves of Remanso and Venado. While there, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch before starting our trek along the Mavicure Creek, passing through white sand savannas and admiring its splendid landscape. Don't forget your camera to capture a dreamy sunset at Tortuga Hill. We conclude the day by arriving at the Venado community to settle in an indigenous maloca and have dinner.

Important: The places we visit are settlements of indigenous communities that protect their land and its conservation. Therefore, they lack the conveniences of conventional tourism. We must be open-minded and adaptive.

Day 2

Discovering the Tepuy.

Our adventure begins with an early and delicious breakfast to energize for the ascent to Mavicure Hill, recognizing the landscapes of the Guiana Shield (which showcases the beauty and water abundance of this land). Afterward, we'll enjoy a delightful lunch and a refreshing swim in the San Joaquín Creek or the Inírida River Beach. In the afternoon, we'll travel by curiara (indigenous canoe) for a chance to spot dolphins in the calm waters and visit the La Ceiba Community for dolphin watching in the calm waters of nearby creeks. Our day's adventure concludes by returning to the Venado community for dinner and rest.

Day 3

Visit to the Morroco Community and Honey Route.

We start well-fed, as always, for a new adventure awaiting us. We will transfer to the Morroco indigenous community, located in the Vichada department. We'll have the opportunity to explore the honey route, the local community's way of generating economic dynamism through sustainable projects like honey production. Your contributions are essential, so don't forget to support them by purchasing some of their local products.

Important: If weather conditions prevent these activities, we have alternative options such as visiting Flute Hill or participating in an experiential workshop on the transformation of wild yucca.

Our adventure doesn't end; on the contrary, we'll head to the source of the Great Orinoco River, where we'll recognize the fluvial star of Inírida and the tributaries Inírida, Guaviare, Atabapo, and Orinoco. We'll pass through the Amanaven inspection point in the Vichada department, which is the fourth-largest indigenous reserve in Colombia. Here, indigenous people own their lands and have an autonomous political system, governing in accordance with and respecting their indigenous customs. Wow! Isn't this interesting? We'll conclude by reaching the MORU Natural Reserve, having lunch, and taking a refreshing swim in the Atabapo River at the Maviso stone, a border area with Venezuela. We'll end the day with dinner and rest in a multiple-cabin.

Day 4

Rappelling or Ecological Hike.

For our last day, we'll have the opportunity to choose between two activity options. We'll venture into the Matavén jungle, and here, we can decide whether to rappel (ascending to platforms in the treetops from where we'll start our journey across bridges at a height of 15 meters, with distances up to 160 meters). These bridges will take us through the Amazonian northeast forest. If this isn't what you desire, no problem, because we have a slightly more relaxed option, which is to take an ecological hike in the MORU Natural Reserve to observe the local fauna and its exquisite forests, allowing you to learn more about this natural reserve. With these activities, we'll close our chapter in Guainía and its surroundings, bidding farewell to this beautiful adventure and returning to the Inírida airport, which will lead us to our next destination.
