Along the way, we will see cactus forests, the reed desert, and herds of goats and sheep.
At the end, we'll head toward Cabo de la Vela, where we'll have a delicious lunch and visit Playa Dorada, Pilón de Azúcar, and Playa Ojo de Agua. Later, we'll watch the sunset from the lighthouse.
Day 2 Punta Gallinas
For our second day, we'll be able to see the beautiful sunrise at Cabo de la Vela, and after breakfast, we'll depart for Punta Gallinas. While there, we'll visit iconic sites such as the Jepirachi Wind Farm , the Puerto Nuevo and Portete Deserts , and the Bahía Honda Desert and Bahía Hondita.
At the end, we will arrive at Taroa Beach to have a delicious swim in its blue waters. We'll also visit the Taroa Dunes beaches to appreciate and enjoy this fascinating landscape of sky, desert, and sea. Here, you can also enjoy a refreshing swim and finish by watching a beautiful sunset at the Punta Gallinas lighthouse in front of Punta Agujas Beach .
Day 3 Mayapo Beaches
We'll continue our adventure to one of the most beautiful destinations in La Guajira. We'll head to Mayapo Beach for a day at the beach. The afternoon will end with a sunset cruise on comfortable beach chairs.
Day 4 Wayuu Rancheria
We'll enjoy our last day of adventure with a delicious breakfast in Mayapo , and from there we'll depart for the Wayuu Rancheria. During this time, you'll spend time with an indigenous community and learn everything about their culture, rituals, customs, way of life, beliefs, marriage, and rules for resolving conflicts and differences. During this experience, we'll interact with indigenous people in the typical Wayuu dance.
Upon completion, lunch will be served at a ranch before departing for Riohacha, where the tour will conclude at 2:30 PM.
