More information.
We begin our tour by land to Tolú. The journey takes approximately two hours. Once in Tolú, we'll enjoy a delicious Caribbean breakfast (arepa and egg with Colombian coffee). Afterward, we'll board a boat for a panoramic tour of the San Bernardo Islands (40 minutes).
We'll then arrive at Santa Cruz Islet, considered the most populated island in the world by square meter. It's home to a community of African-American fishermen who have taken advantage of its cultural and natural wealth for additional economic gain. Those who wish to experience the local life and swim with sharks and other species must pay the island host a modest $10,000 COP per person. The stay will take approximately 30 minutes.
We'll continue to Isla Múcura, where we'll have a delicious lunch and enjoy its public beach with lush sea water for approximately two hours. At 2:30 p.m., we'll return to Cartagena, completing our land tour.
Infants from 0 to 3 years old travel loaded on the boat under the responsibility of their parents or guardians, without food.
