The gastronomic walking tour begins at the Rodrigo de Bastidas Monument in the Bay of Santa Marta. From here you can see El Morro , an islet that has meant a lot to the city, it is the silent witness of events, naval battles, invasions. From there we will go to the Park and the Monument to Simón Bolívar .

Just a few steps from the Bolívar park you can access Casa de la Aduana , which holds the title of being the first city founded in Colombia. Within this works the ethnological museum of the Tayrona culture and the Gold Museum , here we will learn about the worldview and daily life of the first indigenous people who inhabited Santa Marta.

Leaving the Customs House, we will taste a palette of artisanal water, very refreshing for the characteristic heat of the city... from there we will walk through the streets of the historic center, visiting the Callejón del Correo where we will make a technical stop for the tasting cocadas and typical sweets.

This tour takes its course towards the Cathedral of Santa Marta. Here we will learn about its history, architecture and the secrets that this heritage icon keeps. Going out to Calle 16 with kra. 6th; a small area selling natural juices , where we will taste a cold liquefied fruit from the area.

Once we finish the drink, we will walk to Calle 19 or Calle Grave Four until we reach a restaurant to taste the typical Cayeye . Our pedestrian walk continues towards the Francisco de Paula Santander Park, popularly known as the Parque de los Novios .

Then, we will walk 2 blocks further to get to our next typical tasting… corn arepas with cheese and charcoal grilled chorizo. At the end we will take 22nd street known as Santa Rita Avenue until we reach the Santa Marta International Marina. Place where you can see beautiful sunsets... here you can do it enjoying a beer of your choice.

We will return to 22nd street with kra. 3rd. to reach our last gastronomic point, the Cevicheria Donde Juancho where we will taste shrimp cocktail, one of the most desired seafood by locals, tourists and visitors. Here at this point our delicious gastronomic walking tour ends.
