Salinas de Manaure in La Guajira

Huge mountains of white salt extracted from the sea is the type of landscape that you will see in Manaure and that is reflected in the water wells. These are the most important sea salt mines in the country and a must seen village.  Manaure has beautiful natural beaches, of which we can mention those of Musichi and Pájaro, with a diversity of flora and fauna.

 

Galerazamba in Bolívar

Galerazamba is a small town that crowns the tip of Bolivar , is a jewel worthy of admiration, especially for its main attraction that happens naturally between the months of February and March in which the salinas that are about to explode dye the sea of red which creates a must seen  spectacle. But besides being one of the salineros towns , Galerazamba, has another natural attraction that is an inactive mud volcano in which you can take a relaxing bath, it is a natural spa, and on the other hand, Galerazamba, is a town full of history, It is from here where the India Catalina was born and where General Gustavo Rojas Pinilla was kidnapped.

 

Nemocón and Zipaquirá in Cundinamarca

Who has not heard about the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira or the Salt Mine of Nemocón ? Architectural wonders and incredible trips to the depths of the earth while contemplating these great feats and walking through these mines that are were built by exploiting the salt rock and also these are two of the three mines of this type that exist in the world. The best thing about these salineros villages is that they are close to Bogotá and you can get to them easily.
