Best rivers in Santa Marta

 

1. Don Diego river

This is probably one of the most famous rivers in Santa Marta. It mixes not only adventure with nature but also archeology. It is possible to go tubing there, which is a fantastic activity consisting of floating down the river into the sea in a giant rubber donut while enjoying all the nature around you and spotting all kinds of animals such as monkeys and birds. 2. Quebrada Valencia

This is a small river in Santa Marta located near the National Natural Tayrona Park that is considered a natural reserve. It is a place of total peace, but that doesn't mean that it can't also be fun! The river is surrounded by a great diversity of fauna and flora, and its thick vegetation and tall trees give you the feeling of being in your own little secluded paradise, out of this world.

 

3. Minca River

And of course, the river that goes across Minca, the paradise hidden in the mountains. could not be left out from the best rivers in Santa Marta. It is possible to find hundreds of waterfalls and small lakes such as Marinka, Pozo Azul, and the Oido del Mundo across the length of this river.
